So long!!!

So I haven't updated my blog in 7 months. My digital camera broke and I haven't been able to put pictures up, but so much has happened since November. In December I went on a cruise with my whole family minus Jenn, but plus Holly. In January I went to the Rose Bowl. In February I went to Japan to see Jenny. March I went to Oregon for Jenn Lyke's wedding ( I can't believe she is married) and I bought a house with Gary, in Castle Rock, Colorado. For Cinco De Mayo I went to Vegas with Perry and tons of other people from GP, it was like a highschool reunion. The weekend after I went to Texas for Adam and Sarah's wedding and me and Gary had so much fun. I have pictures of all this and just need to post them. Soon I promise. I am so excited for my sister to come home June 28th. But more importantly the Mavericks need to win the playoffs first. I am coming home at the end of July and can't wait to see everyone.

So I went back to Arizona last week to get the rest of my stuff, and I'm not going to lie it was really weird. I did miss all my friends, and it made me realize how little friends I have in Colorado so far. I went with a girl I work with in CO, that moved a month before I did) and she worked directly across the street from me and we actually hung out at all the same places, which is so weird. So we hit every place we used to go to, Big Bang, Margarita Rocks, Tavern, Kona Grill, Keg, RTO Sullivans and we saw a nasty fight at 3 in the morning at Gus' Pizza where a guy broke the store front window with the back of his head. So all in all it was a pretty eventful trip, and its not a trip unless someone throws up, in the rental car, on the freeway!

I think so!!! So duh, if you cant see the shiny little badge, I was a sheriff for halloween and that was my trusty horse, tiny. Yeah so I realize the costume was made for a seven year old and it barely fit it over my boobs, but who cares, its halloween right? I'm sick of every halloween being an excuse for all girls to dress up as slutty as possible, so I was trying to go for the alternative, how did I fare? I guess you decide. Just in case, I'm saving the horse in case someone wants to borrow it next year.

By the way I leave for phoenix tommorow and five days of debauchery, ( by the way I looked up the definition, a wild gathering involving excessive drinking and promiscuity) yeah that pretty much sums it up. My friend Amber is going down with me and it is going to be so much fun. Ill post the pics when I get back.

So the night before I went to Austin, Gary got in a really bad car accident. His friends friend was driving drunk and tried to outrun the cops, like an idiot. Gary was the only one that didn't get hurt, just a few gashes on his head. So he was pretty much down with drinking for the rest of the trip and we didn't go to Bocktoberfest. But I had fun at the game even though it was 90 degrees and humid. The picture of the field is from out seats, we got fourth row tickets from a scalper. The game was a blowout 45-17, so we left fourth quarter and found a bar to watch the USC Notre Dame game. I was hoping ND would win because then Texas would be #1, but it didn't happen. On campus they have this turtle pond that was so cute and you can just pick the turtles up out of the water. The other picture is of sixth street from out hotel.
Austin has one of the biggest bat colonies in north america (exciting, I know) so after the game we went to this bridge and at sunset they all fly out which was cool because there was like thousands, but got boring after two minutes because how long can you sit there and watch bats fly around. We went down to sixth street after that and ate cajun food and listened to jazz and Gary sat there and watched me get hammered off this drink called a bermuda triangle. The restaurant limits you to two, when we got back to our hotel room I was going to get ready to go out and I fell asleep and missed my flight the next day. It was at six in the morning and they were completely booked for the rest of the day. So I ended up driving back, its 17 hours and prarie all the way through oklahoma and Kansas. By the way I won my FFL game this week so I'm 2-4 now, which still sucks, but I beat Amber's team and she was undefeated!!

S0 Gary left last friday for texas, he went to the Red River Shootout and then proceeded to get completely obliterated I'm sure, because that was the first time Texas won in five years. So this Friday I am flying down to Austin to go to Bocktoberfest and I am so excited. If you haven't heard of Shiner, it is a brewery that puts on this wonderful event, maybe if I can still stand up we will make it to the Texas Colorado game.

Okay, it just keeps getting better and better here. I am not working in the corporate world anymore because it was a fucking nightmare. I got a job serving at this sports bar, and it is like the best job ever. I get to watch endless amounts of football and talk shit to people. We have so many regulars that come in, it is just like cheers. My first day I met the mail man, that comes in every afternoon and an unemployed guy, and a bookie that lives in a hotel, in case he has to suddenly move. Despite having to explain good touch and bad touch on a regular basis, I love it. I get to do shots when I'm working, if a customer buys me one and I don't have to be nice to anyone. If a snotty bitch comes in, I can be a bitch right back. They do draw the line sometimes. Mariah called a lady a whore because she tipped shitty, and the manager just said, don't call anyone a whore. Fair enough.

So Texas and Oregon won last weekend and I was stoked, because I had talked so much shit about Texas, that if they didn't win I couldn't show my face again. I think this was Texas' one big game of the season. I was kinda worried about Oklahoma, just because they have beat them the past five years at the Red River Shootout, but after TCU beat them I'm not so worried. I lost in my fantasy football league though, by twenty three points which blows, because my team did really well, I have Cadillac and he'll pull through for me all season, but the girl I played had T.O., I was hoping he would break a leg or something, but no. I got the second highest points.

On a different note, I hate the dentist and I hate teeth. I had surgery last week because I had a root canal that got reinfected. Bastards couldn't do it right the first time. So they had to slice open my gum and fix it and now I have stitches. My face swelled up and I looked like sloth from the goonies for a few days. Plus, it hurts when anyone makes me laugh. Plus side? Vicodin. But I can't take it at work because it makes me hella dumb.

Gary's birthday is tommorrow and he knows a guy a the coors factory, so we are going to take the VIP tour. I don't know what the difference is between that and the regular tour, more beer hopefully. Then we are going to Golden, CO to gamble. Doesn't get much better than that. Love you all, and I miss you guys so come visit me fuckers. Plane tickets to Denver are cheap.

I was a little harsh in some of my posts about Arizona and liked the time I spent there. I didn't think it would be that hard to leave, but it really was. I hate saying goodbye to people and cried my eyes out as I was leaving.

Me trip to CO sucked. I made it two hours before my car broke down and had to stay the night in Flagstaff. The next day driving wasn't bad except getting pulled over and the massive storm.

Once I got to Denver me and Gary went over his friends house and a couple of them busted out their guitars and playing pink floyds wish you were here. We went camping last weekend with like ten people at Rampart Range. Our sight had the most beautiful view it reminded me of Oregon, and the girls here are so cool and outdoorsy. Not all in the brand names and gold-digging. I went to a James Taylor concert last Friday, that was awesome. I was going to fly in just to go to this concert, but I decided to move here before that.

I joined an all-girls fantasy football team and we had our draft last night. I am so excited, the people here are so nice all the time, it is such a change from Phoenix.

I quit my job last week and decided to move to Denver. I will be leaving on Wednesday. I never really liked Arizona all that much, until I get ready to leave and now I am totally going to miss my friends here. I'll be back in two months for a short visit, so at least good bye isn't entirely good bye. My time in Denver will sadly be short-lived as well, because I'll be moving to Chicago in either November or the beginning of next year. Come see me, bitches

Vegas or Bust

I went to Vegas for a Bachelor Party with my roommate. Makes no sense, I know. There was about ten guys, so my ratio was pretty good. The First night we met up with Chrissy Cohen at Light at the Bellagio. I haven't seen her since highschool. We got a table and when the bill came it was $1200. The bottles of Grey Goose were $400 each, which is ridiculous, but that was how it was everywhere. The second night we went to a strip club and the last night we went To the new Wynn hotel and gambled then got a table at the night club Lure. I had so much fun. I gambled away about a thousand, but I did learn how to play Texas hold em.

I went on a little road trip with my friend Chad this weekend. We drove five hours to El Paso. Even though Texans don't like to claim El Paso as part of there state, I thought it was cute, or maybe I just like being in Texas. On Sunday we took a little trip to Juarez, Mexico and had some damn good fajitas and did a little shopping. We drove through the night and I made it to work on time Monday with no sleep.

So a few weeks ago I went down to Tucson to see my friend Matt Bisson, that I haven't seen since I graduated high school. We went to three different bars, and then we played edward forty hands, and watched the sun rise in the hot tub. We didn't get to bed until 7 in the morning. I went home to Oregon for five days and brushed up on my drinking skills. Not that I was slipping in that area, but I drank in overdrive this week. I flew into Portland on Tuesday and drove down to Grants Pass on Wednesday. I went and saw my dad and best friend Holly in Medford and that is when the drinking began. I don't know why but everytime I go see Holly she takes me to the strip club, so that was fun. We drank both nights and then on Friday i drove up to Corvallis because Melissa was having a graduation party. I got into town at 8pm and was passed out by midnight. I was drinking vodka on the rocks, bad move because I didn't pace myself. Eventually we got to the Keg and some of the girls were doing Keg stands, which I have yet to ever try. On Saturday I drove up to Portland to go see my brother. We went out to this club called Voodoo and I was annihilated. I wasn't even walking, I was just standing there and I fell down, not over down, so hard I ripped my pants, broke my shoe, and my wrist hurt for awhile, then I made out with one of my brothers friends. I drunk dialed everyone I knew. I think that maybe I should just stop drinking vodka straight and I wouldn't make such an ass out of myself.
On a lighter note, I got a job working for a stock promotion company and I start today, so I'll be taking it easy for awhile.

Okay, so I haven't had a job for a month. This whole month I have been racking my brain if I should stay in sunny arizona or move somewhere else. I have no ties here so it would be nice to move somewhere new, but it also costs money. I was thinking Portland for awhile because I have friends and family there, but it would be hard to find a job. I was thinking Austin because I absolutely love Texas, but I know no one and that would be really scary. I was thinking Denver because I have an ex there, but that might be weird. I was thinking Seattle because my friend just moved there and he has an extra room. Or I could stay here, because its comfortable and I have a place to live, but I have a bunch of bad memories and i HATE the heat and that's what they have for the next few months. It was 111 a few days ago. So I need some input.

I went to Vegas with my roommate and his baseball team, so you can't really go wrong. I was pretty much drunk the entire time. I met these guys from Ireland and they were snorting vodka, so I tried it. I have never even heard of this before, but I definitely don't reccomend it. It burned and then came out my eye. The last night we were there we rode the nascar cafe roller coaster, which I thought was really cool. We also went to the new Wynn Hotel. It was really nice, but so expensive. I went to bed at 7 in the morning after I lost $750, which completely sucks because now I really have to find a job.

If you have never been to Lake Havasu for Spring Break, I highly recommend it. Everyone goes to Copper Canyon and ties their boats together and it turns into one big booze fest, among other things. It was complete mayhem, like nothing I have ever been to before.
